David offers:
Consultancy in Safety and Reliability Assessment
Reliability Engineering tools and techniques are used to carry out quantitative assessments including those of hazardous failures as required in support of the IEC 61508 Standard needed to satisfy HSE requirements. He also undertakes Availability and Reliability Centred Maintenance studies.
Training and The Certificate in Reliability and Functional Safety
Practical and "down to earth" training workshops have been David’s speciality since the early 1980s. The accent is on practical techniques, using the minimum of mathematics, to make meaningful calculations of reliability and risk.
Workshops are tailored to the client's product and cover Reliability Engineering, Software Quality and Functional Safety-Integrity, Reliability Data Collection, Availability and Risk Assessment. As well as one day appreciation courses, David offers an accredited 4 day Certificate course and a follow on advanced Diploma course.
Five Software Packages
Technis' five software packages include the unique FARADIP.FOUR reliability data base, developed by David for over 30 years and now widely used for risk and reliability work for both mechanical and electrical equipment.
Guidelines
The Technis guidelines have been developed over a number of years whilst carrying out numerous reliability and functional safety assessments. They contain a combination of "best practice" and "actual data" collected by Technis. They are updated from time to time as information becomes available. They currently consist of 12 Technis Documents.
